Up for sale is my 2003 CBR 954 RR. Can't find time to ride anymore, so my loss is your gain!
Low miles at approximately 7800mi. Always garage kept under custom cover (included). It has an after market carbon fiber exhaust canister, Power Commander, mirrored wind shield, passenger seat not pictured but included. It has a polished frame, swing arm, boot protectors and wheels. I also have a shaded and clear windshield along with the factory exhaust. New Metzler tires have approximately 2800 miles on them. Bike stand is included. Engine oil and filter recently changed. Wed, 06 Apr 2011It's not every day you get to bomb around a field that was set aside for The Pope but that's exactly what we've done this morning; the first proper day of our Get On Africa adventure. We started the morning at the Riders for Health workshop where the mechanics took us through their setup and maintenance program for their bikes. The celebs ran through the basics of bike maintainance, the mechanic boasted that bikes never come back to the workshop broken, they just come in for scheduled servicing.
Hero MotoCorp Launches 125cc Ignitor in India
Tue, 03 Jul 2012Hero MotoCorp has launched the Ignitor, a 125cc premium model based on the CBF Stunner from former partner turned rival Honda. The Ignitor is one of the final models Hero will produce with technology licensed from Honda, and it is expected to bridge the gap before Hero introduces its own new models (with help from a gentleman named Erik Buell.) Like the Stunner, the Hero Ignitor is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. Both models claim 11hp and 8 ft-lb., but the Ignitor reaches its peak torque at 5000 rpm while the Stunner has to spin up to 6500 rpm.
Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
