Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
This blue and black Honda Nighthawk has 11,712 miles and has been well-maintained.
This rare sports bike was made only for three years and has matching numbers. We have prepared the bike for a new owner. This includes rebuilding the carburetor, cleaning the tank and rebuilding the petcock. The bike is in excellent running condition and ready to ride.
The original paint is blue and black with normal, minor wear. Seat is in good condition with no rips or tears. See pictures for detail. This bike is factory stock including the twin factory pipes, paint and all of the informational stickers applied by Honda.
This bike has an in-line 4-cylinder oil cooled/air cooled 696 cc motor and a 6 speed (5 speed with over drive) transmission. It is a low maintenance bike with hydraulic lifters (which means no value adjustments) and it is shaft driven so no chains to worry about.
This is an interesting, limited production Honda from the mid-80s. It is a great original bike in good shape.
The bike is located in Indianapolis and we encourage inspections.

Classic corner: Phillip Island turn 12
Tue, 03 Jul 2012Ask any racer what corners they would choose for their perfect track and the long swooping left that makes up the final corner of Phillip Island would appear on quite a few designs. Here the Honda World Superbike riders Jonathan Rea and Hiroshi Aoyama, along with technician Chris Pike and Pirelli's Giorgio Barbier detail the classic corner from the Australian track.
Pedrosa, Marquez, Bradl Talk About Racing, Motorcycles, And Each Other
Fri, 05 Apr 2013In order to use footage from a Dorna-sanctioned MotoGP test session — say, for marketing or promotional reasons — a team must receive approval from Dorna. The process is tedious, and even if permission is granted, there are strict limitations as to what the material may or may not be used for. So when Honda decided to conduct its own private test (which Yamaha also joined), at the Circuit of the Americas, it was free from any and all Dorna mandates.
Hero MotoCorp Reveals RNT 150 Turbo Direct Injection Diesel Concept
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Hero MotoCorp revealed a new scooter concept powered by a 150cc turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. And if that isn’t unique enough, the concept is also two-wheel drive, with an electric motor in the front wheel hub. It’s too soon to know when the Hero RNT 150 TDI concept will ever make it to serial production, but the scooter does represent a technological show of force, proving that Hero can carry on its own research and development following its split from longtime partner Honda.
