Honda CB description

Nice CB200T in good running shape.

Some highlights to share :

- New gel battery
- New tires
- New ignition switch / keys
- New pegs
- New headlight ears
- New headlight ring
- New headlight bucket
- New spark plugs
- New points
- New condenser
- Rebuild petcock
- New tachometer drive cam holder
- New alternator gasket
- Straight pipes (yup, she growls)

The not-so-useful front mechanical disc brake was replaced with a drum.

Other maintenance items I would address if keeping long term :

- Fork seals
- new front drum brake pads

As I said, it runs great and will continue to do so if general maintenance is performed. It has straight pipes on it, so it's loud and sounds mean for a 200, but I think it would benefit from the stock exhaust as I don't think the carb jets were changed after the straight pipes were added.

All in all a cool little bike / city burner.

Shipping / pickup will be buyer's responsibility, but I can help coordinate.

Thanks for looking.

Bradl prepares for Laguna's Corkscrew

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

A rookie to Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl shows one way to prepare for the Corkscrew; by riding his LCR Honda RC213V down the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco. The reigning Moto2 champion may have never raced at the Californian track but earlier this year he used a break between races to learn the circuit on a Honda CBR1000RR, having only had a virtual experience of Laguna before this year. At the time the young German said: "It is downhill, and there are lots of blind corners.

How about Edwards at Repsol Honda?

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.

Marc Marquez Breaks Leg in Training Crash

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez has broken his right fibula in a dirt-track training session. Marquez, who had a remarkable 2013 campaign to win the MotoGP title as a rookie, will need up to a month to recover, which should just about make him available for the 2014 season opener March 23 in Qatar. The Repsol Honda rider was brought to the Hospital Universitari Quirón Dexeus in Barcelona, Spain, for examiniation by Dr.
