 You are bidding on a 1974 Honda CB 450 in excellent condition, bike runs shifts as should all lights work. Tires and chain, sprockets are recently replaced. paint is perfect condition. The exhaust is in great shape no holes. Bike was just serviced, oil and new battery. Bike is being sold as pictured, PA title in my name. You are bidding on a 40+ year old (AS-IS) motorcycle, know your limits. Please email any questions or concerns, so I may address them. The CB450K7 was sold in 1974 in one of two colors: Candy Orange or Maxim Brown Metallic. The gas tank and side covers were the basic color (i.e., brown or orange). The gas tank badge "HONDA" was metal. The gas tank stripes were gold and black. The "450 DOHC" side cover emblem was white and red. The upper forks and headlight shell were black. There was a chrome grip pipe behind the seat. The front braking system used a hydraulic disc. The fork boots were black rubber. There was an independent speedometer, tachometer, and headlight unit. The instruments were tilted toward the rider. There was an independent light housing added between the speedometer and tachometer. The fenders were chrome. The mufflers were megaphone-shaped. The engine was a 444cc DOHC parallel twin with dual CV carburetors. The transmission was a 5-speed. The serial number began CB450-7000001.

The first update is related to the kickstarter, or rather, its absence: now the “single-barrel” in the basic version is started by an electric starter with a very light Li-ion battery. The second difference of the newly rejuvenated CRF450R is the suspension with changed settings - obviously, it steers more fun and perky than before.

2013 AMA Supercross San Diego Race Report

Davi Millsaps captured his second main event win of the season and expanded his AMA Supercross championship lead to 19 points with a wire-to-wire victory at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The Rockstar Energy Suzuki rider jumped ahead at the start for the holeshot and held that lead for the entire 20-lap race for the win. Finishing 2.386 seconds back was Team Honda Muscle Milk‘s Justin Barcia while Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey finished 10.300 seconds back for third place.

James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
