Honda CB description

Please bid only if truly interested in purchasing this very nice bike. This is one of two that I have.

This CB350 Four is an amazing time machine with a very low 4955 miles  It is as nice as any CB350F I have seen recently.  It is unrestored, unmolested, and still has the little yellow paint dots on some of the bolts which indicates the bolt has never been turned with a wrench.  It is completely original except luggage rack that was added. Has never been repainted or even been apart. Fuel tank is very nice inside.
Original Tool kit, and the owners manual are included. The bike shows very little patina yet there is some I have tried to picture. Have not been able to find a right Green side cover, the one on the bike is black. There is a questionable spot on no. 3 pipe on the inside, see last picture. The are some scratches on no. 4 muffler and some dings on no. 3. see pictures.

The bikes fires right up with the electric start or kicker, Idles smoothly. accelerates and clicks thru the gears with ease. NO abnormal noises or smoke. All electrics function. Tires are good. Has a New Battery.

Front brake master cylinder functions but caliper is sticky a will need new seals.

You will be hard pressed to find a nicer 44 year old CB350F.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.
