Frame-off rebuild custom tracker 1971 Honda Cb350. Runs strong. Motor rebuilt with .25 over pistons, all new gaskets. Carbs rebuilt with pod filters. Wheels laced with new spokes and shinko dual sport tires. New paint similar to original color. Tank shown with and without Honda badge. Hours spent to polish cases and hubs. Small details to be decided by buyer such as: front fender or fork brace? plate mount on back or side? exhaust pipe wrap or not? Can paint pipes if wished. I'll work with you to make it how you want. Wed, 30 Jun 2010With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.
Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.
EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Honda Crosstourer Headed for Production
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Honda announced it will mass produce the Crosstourer adventure tourer unveiled first in concept form at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The 2012 Honda Crosstourer will use a V4 engine similar to the one used in the VFR1200F and will also be available with Honda’s dual clutch transmission. Long-travel suspension adds to the adventure touring theme, but the Crosstourer is still more suited to paved roads than dirt.
