For your consideration. A Honda CB 750, manufactured 8-70. The bike has been laid down on the right side with damage to the cylinders. The bike has a 2" over set of fork tubes, a high rise handlebar, very rare dual front disc brakes with an aluminum front wheel. the bike is equiped with a 4 into 1 Kerker header system and a period correct sissy bar. The bike was in a garage in Charleston, WV since 1991, the owner moved here from CA and would not ride with a helmet. This bike was owned by his friend and his wife made him get rid of it after the accident. This bike was just a spare in case he needed parts. No speedo, no idea of mileage, title misplaced years ago. I am listing this for the owner. Terms of sale, a $100 deposit by paypal is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction, balance cashiers check or cash on pick-up of the motorcycle. Misano Moto GP. Was it Divine Intervention?
Thu, 20 Sep 2012I’m still buzzing from an amazing weekend of Moto GP in Misano. It took until Saturday lunchtime for the sun to get his hat on but from there on in the atmosphere at both the circuit and the nearby beachfront was first class. As usual on race day we had epic Moto 3 and Moto 2 races with respective champions elect Cortese and Marquez once again taking victories by just fractions of a second.
Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year. The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.
