Hodaka Other description

UP FOR NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! 1967 HODAKA ACE 90 THAT HAS BEEN BORED TO 100. IT HAS ALL OF ITS MODIFICATIONS DONE IN THE EARLY 70'S. IT SAT UNTOUCHED FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 YEARS. COULD EASILY BE USED FOR AHRMA VINTAGE RACING, VINTAGE RACE DAYS, ETC.. I BOUGHT IT FROM THE 2ND OWNER WHO HAD IT SINCE 1969 AND I HAVE THE VERMONT REGISTRATION FROM THEN. HE RODE IT AS A SUNDAY LEISURE BIKE AND APPEARS TO BE IN GREAT SHAPE FOR THE YEAR. OBVIOUSLY HAS NOT SPENT IT'S ENTIRE LIFE BEING STORED IN DOORS. THE INSIDE OF THE TANK IS PRETTY RUSTY BUT NOT THE WORST ONE I'VE SEEN BY FAR. THE MUFFLER APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. THE CARBURETOR HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED. IT HAS FRESH OIL AND A NEW NGK B7S PLUG. THE BIKE WAS BORED OUT IN THE EARLY 70'S AS WELL AS FINE TUNED AND THE SEAT COVER WAS REPLACED THEN ALSO. HAS THE COMFORT GRIPS. A SKID PLATE. THE TOOL KIT POUCH IS THERE WITH SOME TOOLS. THE PETCOCKS HAVE BEEN CLEANED AND A SECOND (THIRD) FUEL FILTER INSTALLED. THE TIRES HAVE TONS OF TREAD LEFT AND ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. THE FENDERS ARE BENT UP A LITTLE BIT BUT DECENT. HAS THE RACK ON THE BACK. RUNS PRETTY GOOD AND IDLES PERFECT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE VIDEO THAT IS ONLY 2 DAYS AGO BUT THE CLUTCH NEEDS ADJUSTED BUT DOES SHIFT THROUGH ALL GEARS AND HAS TONS OF POWER FOR A LITTLE 100CC ENGINE ON A BIKE THAT WEIGHTS PRETTY MUCH NOTHING. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE. ONLY A VERMONT REGISTRATION. THAT'S ALL YOU NEED IN VERMONT.. IT CAN BE TITLED THROUGH INDIANA THROUGH THE INDIANAPOLIS BRANCH OR IN OTHER STATES MAIN LICENSING BRANCHES.
THERE MAY BE SOME THINGS I'M FORGETTING BUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS ANYTIME AND LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU MAY NEED. THANKS.

THE BIKE MAY BE SHIPPED WORLDWIDE!!!!!
I HAVE SHIPPED BIKES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AND WORLD NOW. ALL THIS DONE AT THE BUYERS EXPENSE. YOU CAN SET UP SHIPPING THROUGH USHIP EASILY AND GET IT SHIPPED TO YOU. LAST BIKE I SOLD WAS THE CB750 AND IT WENT TO PUERTO RICO AND COST $400 TO GET IT FROM NORTHERN INDIANA TO FLORIDA TO BE EXPORTED. ALSO SHIPPED TO CALIFORNIA FROM NORTHERN INDIANA FOR $500... ALL THIS DONE AT THE BUYERS EXPENSE BUT I WILL HELP WITH TIMING, SCHEDULING, AND LOADING.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
