Hodaka Ace 100 description

Up for sale is my 1972 Hodaka Ace 100. I bought it from the original family and it was stored up in northern Michigan at their cabin most of its life. It was barely used and has a little under 1500 original miles!! The bike starts right up and runs great and shifts through all the gears smoothly. I love the sound of these old Hodakas! The chrome has light pitting but still shines up pretty nice as you can tell in the pictures and still has a mirror finish on the fenders and the tank sides. Some of the chrome shows more wear than the others and I have captured it all in the pictures. This bike is all original except for the hand grips and the top mud flap on the from fender. All in all this bike could pretty easily be restored or just shines up the way it is! It even has the original tool kit and the original tire pump under the tank!! The original seat cover is still in great condition with basically no wear on it! It even has the original mud flap in the back!! All the lights work beautifully including both the front and back brake light switches. The speedometer and odometer both work great as well. The horn is pretty weak but probably could be fixed pretty easily. The tube in the back tire is also flat but the bike comes with a new tube for it. This is a unique and fun little bike to own. Feel free to ask any questions and i would be more than happy to answer or send pictures or videos of it. This bike is sold in "as is" condition. The Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping the bike within 2 weeks of auction end. I will only accept a certified cashiers check or cash. I am also willing to show this cool little bike in person. Once again feel free to contact me and I will try and help any way I can! There is NO RESERVE and happy bidding!!

A Different Bike Magazine

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
