Harley-Davidson Touring description

                                                                2006 STREET GLIDE
Up for sale is my beautiful 2006 Street Glide FLHX. It is putting down 156RWHP and 136RWTQ @ MILE HIGH COLORADO. The motor work was done at a Harley Davidson dealer in Colorado, the Supercharger install and dyno was all done at the Infamous Roadies Performance in Arvada Colorado. If you know Procharged Harleys you know that Roadies Performance is the place to go. He works directly with Procharger in the R&D Department in the development of new Supercharger systems. I have a full binder of all receipts and parts installed that will come with the bike. The bike is truly one of a kind, no expense was spared. The Supercharger is a Centrifugal type. The blower doesnt build its boost until 4,000RPM. This bike can virtually be driven around town and on the highway just like a stock harley until you hit 4K then hold on. I have taken the bike to Sturgis and many other midwest rallies. I have well over 50k invested in this bike, honestly it is time for me to build another bike so this one must go.It has never been wrecked or laid down. 99% of the parts used are Genuine Harley Davidson, The rest are the best quality money will buy. NO KURYAKIN SH#T ON THIS BIKE.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
