Harley-Davidson Touring description

Beautiful Custom Bike. Runs great, Has a very clean look. The bike has a clear clean Az. title. Never been in an accident. The mileage is not accurate due to there is no speedometer on this bike. Ebay makes you put a number. I've owned the bike for four years and it really hasn't been ridden that much, has been very maintained though. This bike is a 1999 Harley - Davidson

Road King, 1st year of twin-cam motor, C/V carburetor..   It has been dressed up like a street glide. Shipping and Delivery can be negotiated as I do travel often, and will be willing to workout out some sort of shipping deal whether it be pay partial gas or shipping through an actual shipping company.

* SPECS *

- 88 Cubic inch Harley Twin-cam Motor.
- 5 speed transmission

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.

Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.
