Harley-Davidson Touring description

Mint, Like New 2002 Pearl White, Custom Harley Road King!

I'm selling yet another Harley from my collection of bikes. This one is a little newer than my usual bikes but it is perfect just the same.

I built this bike for my son and no expense was spared. I started by having a 103" kit done at Harley Davidson complete with the programmer and the exhaust. The bike runs and sounds fantastic. It really gets out of its own way. The entire motor is covered in chrome. The front end from the 16"apes down the the axles is chrome including the fork legs and calipers. I had a $500 performance rear drive belt installed and at the time did brand new Dunlop whitewall tires, tubes and brakes. I removed the rear air shocks and replaced them with a nice shorter set of Harley shocks. The floorboards, shifter and brake pedals, and the grips all match for that nice completed look. This bike only has 16,023 original miles. The bike is bike is practically brand new, and it looks and runs like new only better. You won't find a dent or scratch anywhere on this bike.

Along with the purchase of the bike i am including a ton of spare parts. This list includes the stock hard leather saddle bags, the Corbin seat pictured on the bike and two more seats, a nice quick attach windshield, and the stock handlebars.

As i mentioned i built this bike for my adult son. He enjoyed it for quite a while but decided he wanted another older Shovelhead bike. I built him a nice Shovel and we decided to sell this one. This bike is a sweet, reliable and fast turn key and ride bike. You will certainly not be disappointed.

As we expected, the new Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback features hard saddlebags and fork-mounted windshield that can be removed quickly and without tools, allowing it to change from a touring motorcycle to a cruiser, and back again. The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
