Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is our 2009 Harley Davidson TriGlide.  It has:

Headquarters XH-66 Cams, new Headquarters Black Op Lifters, New Cam Bearings. http://hqsupport.freeforums.net/thread/187/wyrd-brothers-wb-xh-66

Reason for cam change.  Needed more power passing Trucks on Freeway and going up and down the hills of the Smokies when fully loaded.  It runs great, getting over 105lbs torque from 1600 to 5000 rpm.

Has a Harley Hammock Seat that's very comfortable both for rider and passenger.  Has a backrest for rider installed that can be removed.  Has an extended shift lever so you can ride with large boots and still shift properly.  Has a new front tire (500miles on it).  Has new rear brake pads and rotors and also new EBC pads in the front.  Has Long Ride Shield's Ultra Re-Curve Windshield.  Has the new tour pack hinges and lock with tour pack inside travel compartment.  Has bright white bulbs on headlamp and passing lamps.  Much brighter than stock.  Has extended side mirrors so you can see better behind you while wearing big jackets.  Has Vance & Hines 4" slash cut mufflers and Big City Thunder Baffles in both head pipes.  No catalytic converter, the 09's never came with one and that's much better as it runs a lot cooler. Has Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air Cleaner.

Have custom map installed for cams and exhaust...runs great!   With the Screamin Eagle Pro Super Tuner.  Comes with bike.  Has CB for talking with your passenger or with other bikers on trips.

Has Progressive Shocks 444's on rear.  These are not air shocks.  They are the best for riding.  You never have to worry about putting air in your shocks.  If you purchase the bike, I will explain everything to you.

This Trike is in excellent riding condition and mechanically sound.  I have never sold and never will sell anything to anyone that is not 100%.

IT'S CHRISTMAS SO IF YOU BUY THE TRIKE I'M GIVING YOU THE TITAN XLT-1500LB. HOIST FOR FREE!

What’s the deal with all those Pink Motorcycles?

Tue, 07 Jul 2009

Picture a Motorcycle in your mind, any Motorcycle. It could be one you own, want to own, one you’ve seen. Can you picture it?  What Brand is it?  What Model, year, how fast does it go?  You can probably picture each of these elements vividly.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
