Only from HD custom factory "CVO" Includes, heavy duty hydraulic clutch, starter and largest rear tire (17mm) factory lowered to 26.5" seat height, dry weight is 678 lbs, vance hines straight shots (great sound) This will always be a Collector Bike with 17,000 easy miles. I have rode for 47 years and this is as good as it gets. The top Mustang seat with removable and adjustable back rest. 1 1/4 " High Rise bars with internal wiring for heated grips. Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling
Mon, 19 Aug 2013As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.
Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.
