This motorcycle is literally one of a kind. There is not another like it and if you haven't seen it in person you can not imagine the level of detail each craftsman put into it. It has never been defeated in its category be it: rubber mount, semi-custom, Road King, custom, touring or dresser. This bike would be the crown jewel for the discriminating collector. This bike has had almost every part upgraded or customized with the exception of the frame itself so that the ride quality/comfort was not compromised.
21000 miles This one owner bike was purchased in 2007 from Myers-Duren Harley Davidson in Tulsa as a stock black Road King. It has been meticulously maintained and all services have been completed at one of the two Tulsa dealers authorized by Harley Davidson. Complete maintenance records are available. Keeping with this theme, one hardy Canadian rider is braving the Great White North’s frigid winter temperatures by riding his Harley coast to coast to raise awareness for diabetes, a disease that has seen a rapid explosion of new afflictions.
Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Labor Day weekend 2014, the place for Harley-Davidson fans to be is at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.
