Beautiful HD. Remodeling house forces sale! Blacked out a lot of chrome to allow more time for riding and less time polishing! Like the retro look...14,400 Miles (may be a little higher, ride it now and agian to keep the fluids moving), three distinct looks based on seat placement (accessories used, single seat, double seat with detachable backrest, tour pack with double seat or the stock HD Classic seat). Unique, a lot of compliments from employees at different HD dealers due to it not being typical and it standing out...which is cool...see photos...i.e. Powder coated lowers, switch houses, 9 spoke rims, air filter cover, horn cover, linkage arm, ceramic coated headers, nostalgic mirrors, bag guards, extended reach comfort bars, 1450 cc (fuel injected) stage 1 - K&N air filter, Screaming Eagle exhaust and dyno tuned. Bike has low rumble... Detachable tour pack, wired accessorie for GPS, etc., I lowered it 1" and have adjustable progressive shocks on the bike. Very well maintained with no leaks, always garage kept. The bike runs like a top, really quick, handles excellent and is a great long run cruiser. Price accessories separately with low mileage...excellent deal. Must sell. I will be on vacation starting starting July 15th and will be returning to Ebay on August 1, 2016. First introduced in the 2002 model year, the V-Rod marked a new era for Harley-Davidson, with the V-Rod’s 1130cc 60-degree V-Twin Revolution engine, the Motor Company’s first production engine with liquid cooling and overhead camshafts. The 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod line is equipped with the latest generation 1250cc Revolution engine with dual overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and fuel injection.
Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump
Tue, 28 Apr 2009Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history. People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here… Why not motorcycles? Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes. Personally, I think it looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.
46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
