Harley-Davidson Touring description

2001 Harley Davidson Road King, customized like Street Glide.  This bike is in like new condition with less than 17000 miles, 2 tone Blue and Ice paint.  Never wrecked or laid down, just took in for complete service.  I added the fairing with high end speakers and stereo system with mp3 or I-pod connection.  This sounds much better than any stock system.  It has crash bar, adjustable foot pegs, custom running boards front and back, upgraded grips, mini apes, optional Harley seat, adjustable driver backrest, removable passenger backrest and luggage rack, lowered with new air shocks.  New Vance and Hines true duals, new battery, new throttle cables, tires probably 60-70%.  I added the mechanical cruise control, it works very well with only a slight movement of the lever with your thumb.  I am the second owner, I bought the bike when it had around 1000 miles on it.  The bike needs absolutely nothing, it runs, drives and handles perfectly.  The only reason I am selling the bike is because I am ordering a new Street Glide.

Harley Unveils Street Line in X Games Ice Racing Exhibition – Video

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. Harley-Davidson will reveal its Street line of motorcycles to the US market at the X Games today with an ice racing exhibition. While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.

Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump

Tue, 28 Apr 2009

Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history.  People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here…  Why not motorcycles?  Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes.  Personally, I think it  looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.
