Up for sale is my 96 EVO Bagger.
The bike was built by a mechanic so alot of time and money went into this build. It is not perfect but it is great bike. There are a couple of chips in the bags and a small scratch on the tank and a small crack in the trunk lid. It has a been riden very little over the last couple of years. The battery is new and has been maintained with a battery tender. The bike has a 2000 swing arm and 2000 front end with 1" axles. A 2000 tour pack was installed along with a newer harness. The motor has a Wood Perforamce Carb and a Woods W6 cam and Wiesco 10.5 pistons. The heads have been massaged and the motor has been converted to a head breather, It has a six speed transmission installed too. I have a extras set of fork sliders, front pegs and the lower fairlings. My reserve is set at $6500 because of the time and money that went in to build this bike. There is a a lot of money in this bike. This thing is the real deal. It runs great! If you want to make and offer we could work out a buy it now. Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
