My girlfriend bought this new from the dealer showroom June 2014. I rode it home for her and it was kept in her finished basement. She would ride it around the block here and there and return it to her basement. The bike having only 128 miles on it looks and runs as new. No damage ever. This has the factory touring package which includes hard bags, backrest, sissybar, XL rigid pipes, shield and more. She paid 12,700 two years ago and only looking to get payoff of 8,100.00. Bike is financed through Navy credit union and will need paid off before you can take possession. I took pictures of bike today but wished I would have washed it first as it has some dust on it. Tue, 04 Aug 2009Ever gone to take your Harley for a spin and thought "You know, I wish this thing had a couple more seats, infact no, I wish it had 10". Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.

As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.

Scheduled Harley-Davidson activities include the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, the XR1200 Racing Experience, Muscular Dystrophy Association pin sale and custom motorcycle raffle and the Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show.
