For sale Sportster Iron in Black Denim. Less than 2,000 miles on it and it sounds great. 

Extras on the bike are: H-D fuel gauge, side mount licence plate bracket, forward controls, Black Denim Vance & Hines exhaust and Black H-D Screaming Eagle Buckshot heat shields, Willy G gas cap, H-D Dark Customs Derby Cover, H-D Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather intake with rain sock. Bike was Remapped/Tuned by Harley Davidson after Breather and Exhaust installation for optimal performance. Bike has always been garage kept and all manufacturer recommended services done by certified HD dealer.

Included for free will be a brand new Harley Davidson Hybrid Half Helmet and Front Fairing painted to match the black denim paint with complete hardware kit (not installed).

Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]

The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family.  Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners.  Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
