This 2007 Sportster 1200 Custom is in great shape, and I have owned it for the last five years. It has been properly maintained by me throughout my ownership. This bike is fuel injected so no carb to mess with, fire it up and go ride. The bike does have a few accessories as well, such as: Detachable Windshield, Detachable Sissy Bar, Sundowner 2 Up Seat, Crash Bar, Vance and Hines strait Shots with removable baffles, Harley Davidson Security System, Harley Hard Saddle Bags (Scuffed a Bit), as well as an assortment of Willie G add on chrome. No issues with the bike, purchased a new Softail, and have no room for two. Shipping will be at the buyers expense, however, I will help with getting it where it needs to go. Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage
Wed, 09 May 2012A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.
