For sale is my 2004 Harley Sportster 1200 Roadster Edition:
The Roadster featured:
- dual front disk brakes
- upgraded suspension
- speedometer and tachometer gauges
- cast aluminum wheels
- high performance 1200 motor
The bike is in great condition (looks new), very well maintained, all stock as it came from Harley besides the Vance and Hines Straight Shots full exhaust system.
All routine maintenance was recently completed including:
- new inspection
- new Dunlop front tire
- oil change with H-D oil and chrome oil filter
- new H-D spark plugs
- new H-D choke cable
- new H-D air filter
This bike starts up every time no problem, sounds great and is ready to ride and be enjoyed.
I also have a padded back rest to go along with the bike.

Zero Enters South American Market
Wed, 28 Sep 2011Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.
Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.

Fri, 08 Aug 2014ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters. First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.
