Listed here is my 1996 HD XL1200 Sportster Sport which runs fine. This bike has been my ride for the last 6 years but medical bills are piling up and she must go. In those six years there has been very little trouble, two years ago I had to replace the headlight and brake pads, last year I had to replace the battery and this year I put on two new tires. The new Dunlop's have about 450 miles on them since new. This bike is equipped with a Mikuni HSR 42 carb and a K & N filter under that chrome cover. The pipes are off a newer model and are mated up to Screaming Eagle II slip-ons with fluted end caps. (I have the stock pipes and mufflers if you are interested) Added were newer model mirrors that I put on the bottom of the bars for a sportier look, they can be put on top if you preferred them that way. When new this model sported triple drilled disk brakes, adjustable front and rear shocks and that beautiful polished Motor and all are intact and work as they should. She has a two up seat with a small backrest/luggage rack and chrome highway pegs for cruising. I have enjoyed romping around on this bike very much and she rumbles like a Harley should. What you will want to know is there are a couple nicks in the tank paint and a paint rub on the front fender. (See photos above). Las Vegas Harley-Davidson Breaks Ground On Vegas Strip
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Las Vegas Harley-Davidson broke ground yesterday on a full-line Harley-Davidson dealership on the famed Las Vegas Strip. A custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle celebrating the state’s 150th anniversary was revealed as part of the event, along with details on how one lucky rider will win it at the store’s grand opening. Harley-Davidson owners from around the city flocked to the site as Las Vegas Harley-Davidson President Don Andress and Vice President Timothy Cashman discussed the new location and, along with Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval, unveiled a custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle.
