1992 Harley-Davidson Sportster, 1992 Harley Davidson. This was my evening project after buying a stock Sportster from my friend. I customized the bike to look mean and bad with all new parts. The motor runs real strong and shifts very well. Long list of new parts include tires, bearings, front fork rebuild, rebuilt carb, high rise handlebars, grips, cables, extended wiring kit, custom 1932 headlamp, solo leather spring seat, new battery, newer shocks, plugs, wire new fluids, filter. Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program
Tue, 17 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
