Harley-Davidson Softail description

I'm selling my 2014 HD Softail Slim.

I am the original owner and purchased this bike from Southern Thunder Harley Davidson in Southaven, MS in Sept of 2015. It was one of the last 2014 models they had on the floor.

The bike has been garaged kept since I purchased it. All the service has been done at Southern Thunder including the full 1000 mile service.

The bike is in like new condition with low miles. It has never been dropped, damaged, or modified. No fuel map changes, after market exhaust or air cleaners.

Buyer is responsible for shipping expenses. The bike is available for local pickup if desired.

I have the title in hand along with all the service documentation from Southern Thunder Harley Davidson on the bike.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I have video of the bike and can send additional pictures if you want.

Thanks for looking.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
