Has thousands in upgrades, including a Stage 1 kit with Vance & Hines Double Barrel pipes, K&N air filter and Thundermax ECM. The Thundermax is amazing and very powerful. It learns and re-programs air, fuel & ignition as you ride. So any future upgrades such as cams or changing pipes will not require any re-programming by the dealer. It takes care of everything, or, you can plug it into your computer and customize any and all settings, including idle speed. Also has complete Custom Dynamics LED conversion including all turn signals and brake lights. Brake light is LED with run-turn-brake conversion and module that has a programmable strobe & flash patterns for high visibility when stopping. Upgraded HD speedometer with tachometer, gear indicator, and customizable multi-color led back lighting. US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
