Harley-Davidson Softail description
Local Trade In We just traded this Fat Boy in from the second owner who purchased it when it was a one year old 500 mile bike. He wasn't a frequent rider has the mileage proves. Most of the time the bike was setting in his garage. The previous owner added a quick release windshield, quick release back rest, detachable leather bags, Harley Davidson chrome bolt covers on the engine, Harley Davidson chrome passenger foot board covers plus a rear fender guard. There are probably a few more items that I am over looking. The tires are good front and rear, the engine runs right and the 5 speed transmission is smooth shifting. Now is the time to get out and ride. Enjoy the weather and open road. A motorcycle opens up a whole new world. New friends, new adventures and turns everyday driving into a pleasure. Tue, 17 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
Watch As Motorcyclist Gets Chased By Elk – Video
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Apparently, elks aren’t too keen on motorcyclists, as the video below demonstrates. This couple, aboard what sounds like a Harley-Davidson (that potato-potato exhaust note is unmistakeable), were riding along in Missoula, Montana when this elk decided he wanted to take the road for himself. As traffic slowed and eventually passed, the elk took a growing interest in the couple on the motorcycle, approaching them.
