Harley-Davidson Softail description

You are bidding on a Custom 2002 Harley Davidson Fat Boy w/7,972 miles, Pearl White w/ghost flames in color.  I am selling this bike for my father-in-law.  He is the second owner and simply dose not have time to ride.

For a 2002 model I would consider the bike to be in perfect (9 out of 10) condition.  There are no mechanical issues whatsoever and the paint/body is immaculate for the exception of a small flat dent on the right side of the rear fender.  I included a pic of the dent, which is almost unnoticeable but I don't like surprises and I'm sure you wouldn't either.  There are way too many options to list, just look at the pics and try to find something that it don't have.  I could not show in the daylight pics but it also has an orange/amber LED light kit installed underneath.  A two-person seat is included with the bike as well.  The bike has always been garaged and the battery was replaced in September of this year.

I have set a reserve on this bike but for what you're getting I think it is really low.  If I have left out any information, feel free to contact me and I will get you a answer.  I would also be willing to deliver/meet within a reasonable distance from Jenkins, KY for the price of fuel. Happy Bidding!

EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
