This is simpy the nicest running & riding classic Harley I have ever ridden. 1969 was the last year for the Panhead or Generator bottom Shovelhead. This bike was completely restored in 2010 and has only 6,090mis since complete. The motor and trans were completely rebuilt. The motor & trans are OEM original Harley and have matching vin#. Original HD Frame. The previous owner built this bike to ride and it is so smooth. It's swingarm frame along with the leather pogo seat rides softer than a new Bagger. The motor pulls strong and runs fantastic. Transmission shift smoothly. This is a very solid bike.Old drum brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes w/ genuine HD banana calipers. Swingarm is chrome as well as brake linkage. Many other extras/upgrades like S&S Super E carburetor, chrome handlebar controls, new windshield, drag pipes, chrome tappets, oil temp gauge, chrome shocks, chrome rotor cover, smooth rear fender, custom rear light bar, chrome chain guard, chrome front fender trim, chrome layback tag bracket, and much more. MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study
Fri, 26 Aug 2011The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year.
