HERE IS A BEAUTIFUL 1968 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH SHOVELHEAD ENGINE WIDE GLIDE MOTORCYCLE. THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS ALL PROFESSIONALLY REDONE AND IT'S READY TO GO, IT HAS 2500 mileS ON IT. THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD THIS MOTORCYCLE SINCE NEW, HE HAD IT COMPLETELY REDONE WITH PLANS ON KEEPING THE MOTORCYCLE UNTIL THE DAY HE DIED. HE ENDED UP LOSING HIS JOB AND DECIDED TO LET THE MOTORCYCLE GO. THIS MOTORCYCLE NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL, YOU COULD RIDE IT THIS WAY, OR YOU COULD INVEST A FEW BUCKS OR SELL OR TRADE SOMEBODY THE PARTS ON THE BIKE TO GET THE CORRECT FLH FRONT END AND FENDERS AND BRING IT RIGHT BACK TO 100% ORIGINAL, THE REST OF THE WORK IS ALL DONE FOR YOU. THE BIKE WAS REPAINTED ONCE BEFORE BACK IN LIKE 1972, THE OWNER FILLED IN THE NECK AREA WITH BONDO JUST TO GIVE A CLEAN SMOOTH LOOK, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE NECK AREA, IT WAS NEVER CUT OR RAKED OR WELDED OR ANYTHING, THE OWNER PROMISED ME THAT IT JUST HAS BONDO ON IT. When in Rome for Harley’s 110th
Mon, 03 Jun 2013In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
