2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two and Softail Slim Revealed

As expected, Harley-Davidson pulled the wraps off of two new 2012 models, the ’70s-styled Seventy-Two Sportster (pictured above) and the bobber-styled Softail Slim. Harley Unveils Street Line in X Games Ice Racing Exhibition – Video

No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. Harley-Davidson will reveal its Street line of motorcycles to the US market at the X Games today with an ice racing exhibition. While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?

Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player.
