Love the bike but my wife doesn't so it has to go.Motorcycle comes with the 103 cubic inch engine which is more than enough power this bike moves, it also has the six gear transmission which gives you a smooth ride. Bike has the ANTILOCKING BRAKES and Alarm feature, which is great because it saves you on insurance and you get push button starting which is a cool feature.Bike is vivid black which is a timeless color. It has the fog light package installed which really helps at night. It comes with detachable back rest with luggage rack all blacked out. Also comes with Fat Boy leather saddlebags which are the largest ones you can get, also detachable. I also have a detachable smoked windshield with all black mounting hardware. All the accessories are detachable which is nice because you have them when you want them and you can take them off in seconds when you don't. Saddle bags have matching locks to keep your stuff safe. Bike also comes with Rush mufflers which give it a great sound. I have all original hardware off bike if you want to change it back. I will also throw in Metal tool box for the bike which I haven't installed yet as well as a Harley Davidson suitcase that fits on the luggage rack. This bike new with all the extras out the door would set you back over $24,000.00.Bike is a blast to ride and will get you a lot of looks. Give me a call if you want to see the bike or have any questions. You wont find a cleaner bike anywhere never dropped and with such few miles you can't go wrong.

Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
