2009 HARLEY-DAVIDSON Road King Custom Flhrsi CUSTOM, Here's another custom bagger from Eddie Trotta and the crew at Thunder Cycle. This bike is super clean with only 4800 miles on it. Some of the custom touches featured on this bike are a sheetmetal stretch on the gas tank and rear fender, the stretched saddlebags and side covers,a 21" renagade up front with matching rear, and amazing paint by Bones Designs. A 103" H-D motor with cams and headwork make plenty of power. Also featured is a hidden stereo with ipod/iphone jack, an amplifier and speakers concealed in the bags. The study measures the overall satisfaction of motorcyclists with their new helmet in three key factors: ventilation, face shield, and design and styling; which consist of 11 attributes: quietness; ventilation/air flow; de-fogging; face shield ability to keep wind out; face shield ability to resist scratching; ease of replacing face shield; scratch resistance of shell; color/graphic design; weight; ease of fastening the strap; and fit and comfort.
Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]
Wed, 14 Jul 2010The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family. Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners. Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.
When in Rome for Harley’s 110th
Mon, 03 Jun 2013In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.
