Harley-Davidson Other tech info

Nice clean low mileage Sportster 1200s. This is the factory upgraded Sportster with Dual plugged heads, higher compression and hotter cams. Also has dual front disc brakes and adjustable suspension. Low mileage, just over 9350 miles. I am riding this bike occasionally so mileage may increase slightly. Dunlop HD tires are good. Brakes are good with stainless lines. Battery age is unknown but bike starts first lick every time. As far as I know, this motorcycle has no issues. Cosmetically it is in good shape. A couple of minor paint scuffs and chips as expected on a 15 yr old motorcycle but no dents or major paint issues. Chrome, what little there is, is nice and shiny. I have added a new solo seat, drag handlebar and bar end mirrors. I have original dual seat and handlebar and mirrors. Foot pegs have been changed to later model pegs and I do not have originals. Tail light has been changed to laydown style and is LED. License plate has been laid down also. Since scams abound, and I have been bitten, I will be cautious regarding payment. I deal with Bank of America. Cashier checks drawn on BofA, fund transfers thru BofA, or cash is the only method of payment I will accept. Shipping and pickup is the buyer's responsibility. I will assist in preparing the bike, draining fuel, disconnecting battery, etc. I have no means to haul bike to shipper. I am willing to rent trailer and deliver within 250 miles of Tampa, Fl for expenses and time reimbursement. |

Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
Harley-Davidson kicked off its 2014 fiscal year with a first quarter net income of $265.9 million, an 18.1% increase from the profit reported in the same period of 2013. Consumers purchased 57,415 new Harley-Davidson motorcycles worldwide in the first quarter, up 5.8% from the 54,254 units sold in Q1 2013. U.S.
Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
