1977 Harley Davidson Lowrider Shovelhead.customized front to back.I got this from the original owner who needed money for a surgery and I am selling because I have my eye on another bike I want.Wide Glide front end with 21"front dual discs,80 spoke rear disc brake wheel.The tank,rear fender and sissy bar are molded with the frame for that true custom look.Frame,engine and title are matching numbers.74 cu.inch Shovelhead, .S&S carb,4 speed.He said the engine and tranny were rebuilt ,but I cannot confirm this .Endless possibilities,ride it, repaint and add YOUR own custom touches!!This will not be relisted and I reserve the right to end this listing at any time since it will be for sale locally and nationally.Please see the pictures as they are part of the description as well. “The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday
Mon, 18 Aug 2014The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
