1968 Atomic Custom chopper! This bike was built for the Motorcycles as Art display at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, SD. It will also be featured in an upcoming issue of Easyriders magazine. This bike has only been ridden 2 times for shakedown/test and tune. It is currently on display at the Holter Museum of art in Helena, Montana.
Specs: *OEM motor with 84" internals, the best of everything. Built by Randall Nelson. Morris magneto, S&S E carb, Cycle Electric generator. Engraved rocker boxes, aircleaner cover, and cam cover. * Rivera/Primo belt drive with pro clutch tucked inside a Phares Cycle Parts cast aluminum primary (also engraved). *OEM ratchet top 4 speed trans also completely rebuilt by Randall Nelson. Engraved kicker cover * Phares Cycle Parts 2 over narrow I beam springer mated to a stock spec straight leg frame. * High shoulder aluminum wheels. 21" spool up front and 16" star hub out back. * Custom king and queen seat. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB
Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
