Harley-Davidson Other description
Here for sale today I have a 1966 Harley scooter. I got this from a guy that has had it since 1970 and has had it stored for about the last 70 years. It is all original except for the tail light lens. It is not running. When I got it I cleaned and sealed the tank cleaned the carb, but would not start. I don't know anything about 2 cycles but after trying to start it I removed the plug. It was wet with gas and I set the plug next to the motor and it did spark. So I think it must be a simple fix. This was only made 2 years and don't see many around. If you have any questions please ask. I am looking for a early 70's FL or FX unmolested frame and will be going to Wauseon at 9:00 Sat. morning. If you will be there and have one and would like to work out a trade give me a call at 517-456-4575 or send a question with your number. Thanks, Eugene |

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.
EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America
Wed, 10 Aug 2011Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
