Harley-Davidson Dyna description

You are bidding on a pristine 2 owner 2001 Harley Davidson FXDWG2 "Switchblade", Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) limited edition; approximately 1500 produced. This bike was created by the then newly created CVO Division, which officially turned into the "Screaming Eagle" editions the following year starting in 2002. Current mileage 3,901 (325 miles per year if you're doing the math). Never down, dropped, or otherwise damaged. It has always been professionally maintained, & stored in a heated garage.

This bike is an amazing Scarlet Red with matching powder coated frame, chin spoiler, & headlight fairing. The flames repeated on the various body components is true gold leafing, which really sets the paint job apart from the pack. In order to maintain the integrity of these limited edition bikes, HD will not sell this paint to an individual unless a certified HD shop verifies the VIN as a CVO, confirms damage, at which time HD will only provide enough paint to repair the damaged component: no clones can be made as a result. The seat is a tan leather with real ostrich skin inserts along the side, which compliments the color scheme of this true custom. Nearly every chrome option was standard, and the rims, matching pulley, rotors were unique to this bike. The tanks dash panel was designed by Willie G. Davidson, and again was unique to this model. I added a set of billet mirrors, that have the exact flame style/pattern as is on the body components, as well as completed the chrome hand-controls (it's a HD they expect you to spend money somewhere). The bike  comes lowered right from the factory, and included FOX Billet rear shocks so it looks long & lean as a result.

I am the second owner (670 miles when purchased in 2003), but thanks to the wealthy original owner substantial engine work was completed by the certified HD Shop that sold the bike. I have the original shop invoice documenting nearly $5,000.00 worth of engine work (95CI) when the bike had a mere 3 miles on the odometer. The bike was built for High RPM Horsepower, but I did change the carburetor & pipes to favor usable torque/throttle response; Dyno 91HP & 107ft/lbsTQ at the rear wheel. This bikes performance is very impressive! I will include the Holley/Screaming Eagle Carb & Manifold in the event you want to reconfigure the HP/TQ. Be forewarned that this is a performance engine that is a heavy breather so it is LOUD, but the sound just exudes power; must hear to understand

Factory Alarm with 2 Key Fobs

The bike includes a matched/fitted custom cover for storage, that was made for this particular CVO. I will also include the FXDWG2 Shop Manual ($70.00) that I purchased specific for this bike.

Ultimately I will hate to see this bike go, but I just don't have the time to truly enjoy it as evidenced by the low miles logged over the years.

Although I will not personally arrange for transportation, I will make myself available to any transportation company hired by the purchaser. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 904-806-2800 during reasonable hours.
