Harley-Davidson Dyna description

55K on bike but just over 10K on new top end with Andrews cam, Black Diamond valves, Mikuni carb, Vance and Hines pipes. Compufire Elite 1 ignition.New battery and rear tire. Front is good. It has a custom reverse springer front end, raked out to 37 degrees.. Removable bags [needs new key ] and windshield via quick disconnects. Corbin seat,  It needs a little cosmetic TLC, 2 small dents in front of tank and regular scratches. One on Derby cover, and primary. I spent ages getting it ready to go into the cosmetics, but now that it is time I have other priorities due to age and health. This bike runs strong and is ready to ride anywhere. Just spent a week in the Rockies, and another week in the Smokies on it and it performed beautifully. I have the dyno sheet which shows 80 HP. have the service manual also. Very good , dependable bike that is ready for your own touches.  Priced very fair. Looking for a Ranger 4x4 pickup, would trade for the right truck.

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

Tue, 17 May 2011

Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says  Jeffrey I.
