1981 Harley-Davidson FXWG original factory flame job. If you're looking at this you probably already know how rare and desirable these bikes are becoming. Here is a gorgeous two owner example of Harley-Davidsons first factory "chopper". This one is a mostly original example, missing only the original air cleaner and exhaust, console trim and original handlebars. The original speedometer is included with the bike as well as all paperwork back to when the bike was purchased new in Pennsylvania.
The engine was rebuilt by the original owner 2500 miles ago to stock specifications and I have the original pistons, valves, springs and cam that also go along with the bike. The original black paint shines and the factory flame job is in amazing original condition. This bike runs and rides amazing. I just took it on a 200 mile ride through the Northern Arizona mountains yesterday and it performed flawlessly. I'd love to keep this one, but I need to make room in the garage. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
Champion Trikes Acquires Lehman Trikes

Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership
Tue, 09 Apr 2013A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
