Harley-Davidson Chopper description

Up for auction is my custom built, one of a kind chopper. I started with a  good running, stock 1996 1200 Sportster. No expense was spared in building this bike, all parts were either made by me or came from other well known custom shops, I own a custom bike shop and built this bike for myself. The tins are hydro dipped and look amazing and the frame, springer and handlebars are gloss black powder coat. The bike has been converted to chain drive and runs and drives perfect, rid it anywhere.  Like new Firestone tires, Dyna "S" electronic ignition, powder coated CV carb, Hela Volkswagon Headlights, The custom parts I made are the stainless sissybar, forward controls, king queen seat, stainless top motor mount that is also coil mount and start button,  polished aluminum oil tank and custom made exhaust. To much to list, check out the pics and ask any questions. This is a rigid bare bones chopper, doesn't have turn signals, horn or any other un-needed crap. Clear Ohio title in my name, I would prefer local pickup, I will ship this but that is up to the buyer to arrange and pay for. The bike had 24,000 miles on it when I chopped it and probably 400 miles on it since I finished the build. Also, this bike was shot for Easyrider magazine and will be featured in a upcoming issue. $500 paypal deposit is required and remainder to be paid cash upon pickup.

Parts from other shops include:
Ledsled Customs
Hardtail
Rear fender
Springer
21" Chrome Invader wheel
Polished Aluminum spun rear wheel covers

Zombie Performance Handlebars
LC Fabrication battery box with Antigravity 12 cell battery
Lowbrow gas tank with sight glass
Old Stf Mini Ed air cleaner

Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2012 Results

Tue, 23 Oct 2012

Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. The Milwaukee company shipped 52,793 motorcycles in the three months ended Sept.

Harley-Davidson World Ride Scheduled for June 22–23

Tue, 06 May 2014

There’s something about sharing in a popular consciousness. Participating in an activity that is also taking place at the same time all over the world adds a special meaning to the event. Begun in 2008 by the Harley Owners Group as Million Mile Monday and renamed and enlarged in 2012 toHarley-Davidson World Ride, this event simply asks all “friends of Milwaukee” to get on their hogs and ride on June 22–23.

Fundraising Harley Prints By 8-year-old MDA Ambassador On Sale

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
