GOOD+.. overall condition, Good running condition. Stored in a
Garage...Original tires(no Checking),original seat, new grips,
aftermarket rear view mirrors,all other parts original.Missing one
reflector on front forks (Have two new ones not applied). rubber damper in left rear shock disintegrated of no consequence., Dent on right
rear of fuel tank, Fuel tank has been de rusted and treated,all
electronics work. Missing steering lock key.Comes with new battery and
manual and a few parts.
Bought in 1984 from high school friend with 350 miles on it.Road it in the 80's for about 18 months, two and from work. Again ten years later for a few months on trails. (The Low 2100 Miles) Otherwise it has been in my garage all its life with start and runs a couple of times a year for lubrication circulation.. Does show signs of age, ie, scratches, paint ware, some oily spots some bumps and bruises. but its all here with title, manuals, extra parts and new battery, They use to laugh at me at the Harley shop back in the day... now they want to buy it from me? Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
Brammo Hires Ex-Harley-Davidson Dealer Development Director
Fri, 10 Jun 2011Brammo has hired former Harley-Davidson dealer development director Jim Marcolina to develop the electric motorcycle maker’s North American dealer network. Marcolina was director of dealer development and dealer relations at Harley-Davidson after joining the Motor Company as a district sales manager. Brammo will rely on Marcolina’s experience working with Harley-Davidson’s dealer network to help establish its own fledgling network.
