I have decided to sell my gorgeous Ducati 1199S Panigale with only 2762 original miles. This bike is garage kept with a cover and battery tender on it. I start it monthly but never seem to have the time to ride it. I have put on a lot of carbon fiber parts so it looks much better and different than the other ones for sale. My bike does not have any scratches on it and is better than new. It has a clear 3m covering on the nose to protect it. Please look at all the pictures to see the different carbon fiber parts. I am not going to list everything since you can see them in the pictures. I am also listing this locally so I can stop the auction at any time. My bike has never been raced nor dropped. WSBK: 2012 Brno Results
Mon, 23 Jul 2012Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.
Massimo Tamburini: 1943 – 2014
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Massimo Tamburini, creator of some of the industry’s most iconic motorcycle designs, has succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70. Tamburini was diagnosed with the disease last November and underwent chemotherapy treatment but passed away April 6. Earning renown for designing motorcycles such as the Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4, Tamburini’s name will be forever linked with those two companies, as well as Cagiva and helped found Bimota (Tamburini is the “Ta” in the company’s name.) Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies Ride the 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R at Circuit of the Americas
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Ducati was absent at a recent MotoGP test at the Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas, attended by Honda and Yamaha‘s riders. But that doesn’t mean Ducati‘s American riders Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies won’t get a chance to ride their newest home track. The Kentucky Kid, Hayden, and Texas’ own Spies recently hit the COTA track on the new Ducati 1199 Panigale R for the sportbike’s press launch.
