Ducati Superbike description

Up for auction is a barely ridden 2010 Ducati Stealth Edition 848 Evo. Bike has all new Matte Carbon fiber fairings (Everything except the lower fairings, the right side was carbon wrapped but can easily be removed). Never laid down, just wanted a completely custom look. All previous fairings were sold on eBay and listed as in pristine condition. 3200 miles/2 owners, completely babied. Also has Carbon Termognoni Exhaust. Bike speaks for itself and rides even better. I have 4 vehicles and am not able to give this bike the time it truly deserves. Clean title in hand all it needs is a rider. This bike was a replacement of my KTM RC8R and is night and day better and more comfortable. Feel free to make an offer! I have purchased & sold many bikes and cars throughout the years. If you need help with shipping the bike it can be a very inexpensive process so just let me know!

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.

Track days, I love em!

Fri, 29 Jul 2011

I never tire of track days. Well I wouldn’t as I’m out most weeks earning a crust instructing on them, however, there is usually an amusing story at the end of each event. I get great pleasure helping riders (especially if it makes them safer) although I do come across some weird and wonderful riding in the process.

Nuggets from Estoril

Tue, 03 May 2011

HRC Executive Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto and Ducati General Director Filippo Preziosi attracted some major media attention as they enjoyed a lengthy but very public chat in the Estoril paddock. Some speculated they were chewing the fat over Stoner’s brilliance now that even Rossi is struggling to get close to the podium on the D800cc Ducati. Others had no doubt it was the rule change for Moto GP machines moving to 1000cc in 2012 that was being debated.
