Ducati Sport Touring description

2001 Ducati ST2 Red- This bike has a lot of extras from CycleCat, Fast by Ferraci, Ducati Designs, and a ton of other custom mods. Customer under tail, custom powder coat and polished wheels, custom power coated calipers and wave rotors, seat cowl and extra seat for two up. I do not have the backs, however, they can be installed, since I have the original under tail. Come see the bike to appreciate. The battery is dead, I have not started it since 2008. It has sat. Therefore it needs some TLC to come back again, in addition, it could use its first service. I did not ride the bike hard. If serious, please give me a call at Mark 201 323 6804, I could throw  a charger on the battery and get it running. I am located in Kinnelon NJ, North East part of NJ. Local pick up only, I will not arrange shipping.

Here are a few things going on around the Motorcycle.com Forum Network: Animated Engines plivez, a new member of the Ducati.ms forums (welcome Plivez!) has a website where he animates motorcycle engines in flash. It’s pretty interesting to see the way a Evo and Twin Cam V twin Harley Davidson engine works. He also has up the crazy BMW flat twin R100 motorcycle engine which seems more complicated then an engine should be!

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
