This is an absolutely mint condition, stock, low mileage (4, 62) Grand Canyon, dual sport motorcycle. Im the 3rd owner and bought it 2 years ago with 1, 757 mis on it. I use the bike for motorcycle camping and have done back to back summer trips with no incidents. The bike makes great power with its Ducati fuel injected M904 motor paired with a 6 gear transmission and handles great on the mountain roads. This is a very well maintained machine with regular oil changes, brake and clutch fluid changed, cam belts replaced, battery tender, charging socket for your Iphone or IPod and has 2 original keys. . The bike also comes with the original tool kit and factory shop manual and has on a set of Pirelli MT80s. Note : Odometer is in kilometers.

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

Rossi to Race on Updated Ducati Desmosedici GP11.1

With the 2011 MotoGP season not going as successfully as hoped, Ducati is introducing a number of significant updates to its Desmosedici racebike including features originally intended for the 2012 version. Valentino Rossi, whose much heralded union with Ducati has produced just a single podium finish in six races, will be the first to race on the updated Desmosedici, dubbed the GP11.1. Rossi will ride the GP11.1 at the upcoming Assen.
