Ducati Other description

Up for grabs is my 1963 Ducati Diana 250 project bike. it has a matching frame and motor and is a pretty rare model. the engine turns over freely, has a good looking newish piston (does not have rings on it though), shifts fine, shim type valves, nice head, and is all there. the frame still has the tabs on it but has had the back chopped (was someones race bike), i have another rear loop to throw in that can be put on. it has the correct fork ears for clip ons, rims are in pretty good condition (the front hub has some repair), correct front forks but upper tree for regular bars.. what you see is what you get, georgia bill of sale will be provided. buyer is responsible for shipping, i can help with meeting a shipper if needed.

Hayden and Rossi Back on Track Following Surgeries

Tue, 28 Feb 2012

Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden returned to the track to test their Ducati Desmosedici GP12 racebikes mere weeks after both undergoing surgery. Rossi had a rod removed from his right leg, a remnant from the 2010 crash that broke his tibia. Hayden meanwhile is still recovering from surgery to repair a shoulder injured in a training crash.

If Rossi went to Ducati...

Tue, 30 Mar 2010

BY THE WAY he's been enthusing about Yamaha over the last few months, the chances of Valentino Rossi defecting to Ducati for his final stint in MotoGP looks increasingly slim. But if The Doctor did decide to end his illustrious motorcycle racing career with Ducati, then this is what his Desmosedici racer could look like, says bike design guru Oberdan Bezzi. Looks cool in Martini colours, yes?
