    First year of the fabled Multistrada by Ducati featuring a 1000cc Desmodromic Dual Spark V-twin motor.  Fully adjustable suspension and ABS braking combine to offer one of the best ‘adventure bike’ rides available wrapped in a Italian suit.  Very capable with exotic styling, glorious exhaust note and bullet-proof power from one of Ducati’s best ever.

Very original and Extremely clean.   Virtually New with 6,010 on the odometer.   Digital dash w. tach

This Multistrada has received the Ducati adjustable lowering kit so it can accommodate shorter riders.

Equipped with factory option saddlebags, Fantastic Termigogni exhaust and PSR clutch slave.   

Always serviced by Ducati with extensive service file and all manuals included.  

Recently refreshed with fluids changed, New brake master, New oil lines, New battery and air filter. 

Only significant flaw is a rock chip in the headlight lens and the oem rear tire should be replaced soon.

Always garaged and Meticulously cared for by mature rider.

EICMA 2012: 2013 Ducati Hypermotard Gets New 821cc Liquid-Cooled Engine

Ducati is streamlining its Hypermotard lineup for 2013, replacing its air-cooled  796 and 1100 models with a new 821cc liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Announced at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, the line now includes the Hypermotard, the Hypermotard SP and the more touring-oriented Hyperstrada which you can read about in a separate post. Bowing to ever tightening environmentally-friendly restrictions, the new generation of Hypermotards come equipped with a new 821cc version of Ducati’s Testastretta V-Twin engine.

848 Challenge heads to Holland

This weekend sees riders and teams heading across the North Sea to the famous Assen TT circuit for Round 2 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge. After two stunning opening races at Brands Hatch BSB three weeks ago, the expectation is that the racing will be similarly closely fought and exciting at the historical home of bike racing. Leon Morris left Brands with a double win, continuing his strong form from last season and will no doubt be the man to beat in Assen, while Darren Fry, the current Champion, will hope for better luck this weekend after breaking his coccyx at Brands Hatch in a heavy crash. But the Buildbase/JHP Ducati team-mates will be wary of the challenge from Mike’Spike’ Edwards (MSKWorks.com), who will be riding his upgraded Ducati 848EVO for the first time this weekend, and Mark Cheetham (Shorrocks Motorcycles) and Kenny Gilbertson (Art of Racing/Boast Plumbing) who were the main challengers for podium finishes three weeks ago.

Audi Poised to Buy Ducati

German automaker Audi is reportedly in exclusive discussions with Investindustrial to acquire Ducati. British automotive publication CAR Magazine cites high-level sources within Audi in reporting the car maker has won first dibs to negotiate a deal. Audi reportedly has until mid-April to decide whether to buy out Ducati.
