2006 Ducati Sport Classic

This low-mileage Ducati Sport Classic is in pristine condition and has been featured in the pages of Cafe Racer magazine and appeared on the hit Discovery Velocity series Cafe Racer. Adorned in a sleek, dark silver finish with white racing stripes, this Desmo-powered V-twin features Ducati's patented air-cooled, twin spark 1000cc engine, characterized by copious low-end torque and smooth, rapid acceleration. Among the aftermarket performance modifications are: a full, stainless steel Termignoni exhaust system (valued at $1,700) a custom clutch slave cylinder and open cover on the dry clutch; new Dunlop tires, taller, more comfortable handlebars from a Ducati ST3, custom brake and clutch levers, a carbon fibre rear hugger and a sport mini-fairing. The clocks show 7,900 miles and service records indicate new cam belts, fluids and complete service just 400 miles recent.

Casey Stoner's trick kart

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

The other day Casey Stoner tweeted this shot of this factory looking kart, which the reigning champion has been customising during the MotoGP downtime between Qatar and Jerez. Stoner became hooked on karting after taking part in the ice-race at the Ducati/Ferrari Vrooom event in 2009, beating F1 driver Felipe Massa in the process. Not only a hobby, Casey uses karting for training, as the Australian says there are physical benefits as well as to his reflexes.
