Ducati 750GT description

Ducati 1974 750GT...With ONLY 5 factory test miles...Purchased from Flint Indian in 1992 prior to the estate auction of Herb Kunze.A 90% NEW motorcycle.

I found the Ducati 750 GT on the 2nd floor in a corner Missing some of its parts...which had been removed..but I later found MOST on Flint Indian's Part's shelves.I made an offer based on the completeness of the bike..and the promise by Ray Peter's(Executor)that what I found on the shelves that were correct for the bike went with it.

These parts were removed  and not found on the shelves..or in the immediate area....but were purchased by me over a period of 13 years....so they did not come with the bike when I brought it home.I sold the bike in about 2006....and bought it back later.
TANK
Tachometer
Camshafts ( one head  was pulled apart..cam and rockers)
Brake pedal
Rear Tire(Metzler Block C)
caliper

A rust free tank was purchased..dipped and painted..unfortunatley ...the pin stripes are WRONG.The tachometer bezel has a ding.the brake pedal is chrome.
cams are shown.in a bag w rockers
The left Conti muffler has a ding...and the rear fender also has a ding.

At least.1 head still needs assembly...so its a very interesting Project. Forgot to mention..correct Borranis and Lead seal on the cases

I think I still have the original MSO...and a clear title

RSVP from an RSV4

Wed, 08 Sep 2010

Aprilia’s RSV4 Factory has to be one of the most interesting and adrenaline-inducing literbikes around, and that’s just part of why we gave it an Honorable Mention in our Best of 2010 Sportbike category. We recently had opportunity to put on a poor but passing Max Biaggi imitation with one particularly fine example. This RSV comes courtesy of our friend Kaming Ko, who often helps us on test rides.

Rossi and Hayden Find Improvement but Disappointed with Results

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

The good news for Valentino Rossi is he managed to narrow the gap in lap times between his Ducati Desmosedici and Casey Stoner‘s Honda RC213V. The bad news is other riders improved more than he did. Rossi completed 57 laps and set a time of 2:01.550 on the third and final day of the second MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.

Ben Spies to Ducati in 2013

Wed, 12 Sep 2012

Ducati has confirmed that Ben Spies will be riding for the Italian company in next year’s MotoGP championship. Joining Spies is Moto2 phenom Andrea Iannone. Apparently, Spies and Iannone will be competing on the Pramac Ducati team and “will be supplied with official equipment.” With Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso already confirmed for the factory Ducati Team, this announcement concretes a competitive, four-pronged attack for storming next year’s championship.
